The BESSEMER CITY SCHOOLS CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM is a nonprofit federally -assisted National School Lunch and Breakfast Program participant with the following mission:
·Provide nutritious meals to the school district population each day.
·Safeguard the health and well being of the school population through the implementation of scientific Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) prevention -oriented food and facility safety system.
·Offer courteous and efficient service ,
·Ensure that the school population gains a full understanding of the relationship between proper eating, good health and their effects on the ability to learn.
