BESSEMER CITY SCHOOL CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM

 The BESSEMER CITY SCHOOLS CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM is a nonprofit federally -assisted National School Lunch and Breakfast Program participant with the following mission:

 

·         Provide nutritious meals to the school district population each day.

 

·         Safeguard the health and well being of the school population through the implementation of scientific Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) prevention -oriented food and facility safety system.

 

·         Offer courteous and efficient service ,

 

·         Ensure that the school population gains a full understanding of the relationship between proper eating, good health and their effects on the ability to learn.
