Bessemer City High School students involved in the Ready to Work Program toured local businesses in the Birmingham/Bessemer Region.  The Ready to Work Progam is a soft skills training progam that provides participants entry level skills needed for employment.  Students who have elected to not attend collage can become gainfully employed right out of high school.  The Ready to Work Program is offered at no cost to participants. Individuals interested in learning more about the program and enrollment details should contact their local community college.  The Bessemer Ready to Work Program is made possible by Dr. Marcy Burroughs, Director of Curriculum & Instruction.
